Fandom, you are having a bad week again. I get that sometimes this happens, you know! Nothing goes right! Everyone is cranky! Life is sad. That's why, clearly, we need to have another pick-me-up, where everyone helps make everyone else's day a little better.
Therefore - this post is devoted to SPN and J2 drabbles and comment fic!
How It Works
1. Leave a simple prompt in comments. If you want gen, say gen. If you want a pairing, specify the pairing. Dean+Sam is notation for gen, Dean/Sam is... not so gen. Leave one prompt per comment, and see below re: how many you should leave.
Examples: Dean/Sam, ice cream. Jared/Jensen, puppies. Dean/Jo, learning to drive. Gen, Dean and Sam deal with another werewolf.
It's okay to leave a prompt without writing anything, and it's okay to write something without leaving a prompt.
2. Go back and write drabbles/comment fics for other people based on their prompts, then post them as a reply to the comment with the prompt! It can be long, short, or anything in between, just try to stick to the requested pairing. Feel free to write one drabble or eight! Whatever goes. Or, you know, if you're an artist and you wanted to do some tiny sketchy things or make an icon? You're absolutely welcome to do so. Anything goes!
3. It's totally cool for one prompt to receive more than one drabble, but everyone should definitely try to spread the love around, so no prompt looks all sad and unloved.
4. It's also OK to leave more than one prompt, but be reasonable - start off with one prompt in SPN and J2 each (or just one fandom if you don't like RPS or whatever!), and let everyone leave at least one request, and if you have another idea, go back and add it later, when you're sure plenty of people have gotten a chance.
5. This is not meant to be a huge time commitment or a major work of art - just a little drabble or fic to help pick someone's day up, you know? So it doesn't have to be perfect - what matters is that we are a cool fandom with amazing people and awesome characters and actors.
6. Feel free to link in your own journal or tell other people or whatever brings you joy.
