And I have to admit, meta!Remus got crazy jealous at the idea of Sirius calling himself James's Padfoot, but I thwacked him to shut up for a bit. :P

*cuddles meta!Remus* meta!Remus should know that James did call him that on occasion, but naturally only when no one else was in earshot. It's certainly not just an arbitrary thing. Still doesn't make Sirius any less Remus'. Silly boy. *cuddles you as well*

meta!Remus does know that, but he doesn't have to like it. And he feels there's a world of difference between "Padfoot" and "my/your Padfoot". Remus has a lot more to say on the subject, but I'm thwacking him harder now, as this is not the place. He accepts your cuddles, though.

*scritches meta!Remus as risk of having her fingers bitten or smacked at* Sirius is nervous about me saying this, but James has referred to him as such. Only very rarely and usually only when something very bad has happened and they are making up, but yes. His Padfoot. But Remus' also. He's rather firm on this point. Both theirs utterly, just in completely different ways.
