I LOVED this. *tears* It broke my heart. That rhyme was brilliant. I'm surprised those nameless Order members got defeated so easily, but never underestimate the dark side, eh. ;p

The ending! *grabs tissues* I find myself loving how you built it up to that. I'm so tempted to "SEQUEL" at you, but that wouldn't be fair of me. *grins*

Now I can't decide if I prefer angst or fluff. - I know I prefer to READ happy endings ... but I do like a build-up of angst along the way. I just think I WRITE better angst (or flangst) than I do fluff (or smut or crack).

That rhyme was brilliant. - Thanks ♥ I do enjoy writing poetry, and I got right into her taunting character (I could hear her voice in my head) as I wrote it. Heh.

I'm surprised those nameless Order members got defeated so easily. - It wasn't so much that they were defeated so easily, but telling the story from Harry's point of view, he doesn't know what happened because they all died, and there was nobody left to tell about it. I just pictured the "handful" of Order members being far outnumbered by the Death Eaters.

I'm so tempted to "SEQUEL" at you - oh you wouldn't be the first! If I do a sequel, it will be a while from now. I think this one just has to stay as-is, while Harry tries to pick up the pieces. *hugs

Flangst - A series I wrote for hd100, which I will be posting as one to my LJ in the next week or so ... started out very angsty, was asked to write a sequel to make everything better, so I did, but it took a few weeks. I also did a couple of angsty series drabbles for hd_boardgame, which I wrapped up happily

Oh, that was just beautiful ... it was heartbreakingly beautiful. So sad. My heart was aching by the end of it.

Ron's dead? Aww ... poor Harry! But your description of the moment was amazing.

The characteristics, the emotions, it was all done so well. And the end just killed me! Fantastic job.

Thanks, hon. I do really like writing angst.

Yeah, the original was written before DH came out, so I wrote a Ron death into it at the time. And look at that ... I predicted Remus and Tonks. :(
