Rush was AMAZING! :D Steampunk themed set and animations, and pyrotechnics, and a string ensemble for the Clockwork Angels set -  they performed every song on the album save two: BU2B and Seven Cities of Gold. YYZ was also played with the string ensemble in the background. Um, yes. Yes indeed

Glad it was awesome! Been watching for the post to see when you were back home. Sounds like it was a hell of a show. :)

Did go see Pacific Rim. It is utterly fantastic and I'm hoping Brother-In-Law wants company so that I have an excuse to go again. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Will buy as soon as is available on DVD. You totally need to see this movie as soon as possible.

I'm planning to go see it tomorrow. Not only have I heard nothing but good things about it, but theatres are air conditioned. (It continues to be stupidly hot here.)
