Post OAR, Adam needs a lift and Tommy comes to fetch him. They break down a long way from home and have to spend the night in a motel
Manfully stifling a yelp for the third time in as many minutes, Tommy turned to glare accusingly over his shoulder. "Your feet are freezing." "Nrmrng frrrg" Adam mumbled drowsily, burrowing further under the covers then rolling with them to the other side of the bed. Heaving a sigh, Tommy slid back along the bed, closer to Adam and the precious warmth of their shared duvet whilst reminding himself that it was just for one night. He looked again at the man beside him - the image of contentment - and resentfully tugged the duvet back to cover himself. Of course Adam would have no problem with the only motel room available being a double; he'd probably been sharing with Aisha and Rocky for years.
:) I like best that line at the end. It actually makes sense - Adam probably is used to lack of person space and has no sense of modesty. And couldn't that be fun...
He wakes each morning in a world where things are not as they’re supposed to be. How it's different, he's not sure. He only knows that there used to be a balance, a rhythm, a flow. Now these people he knows, and yet does not know, tell him he must do things which bring violence and destruction, noise and confusion, when all he wants is to sit awhile and try to find something in this harshness that feels familiar.
Sometimes it’s like he can’t recognise himself; this warrior of darkness, who was born to destroy the world. Sometimes he has doubts, doubts he cannot take to Master Xandred, who gave him back his purpose and set him on his path when the rangers had all but destroyed him. Still, in the back of his mind he knows when he wakes each morning that things are not as they’re supposed to be.
Lolz, I don't think I know what my fandoms are these days. I've gone with Gao, as it's one we have in common.
Red was hesitant the first time he tried it; a gentle brush against Yellow, ready to pull away if necessary. He still wasn’t sure of how far he could take this. Outside the bedroom door, he could hear Blue and White squabbling, but the centre of his focus remained the man standing opposite him.
The blond glanced over at him, a puzzled frown creasing his brow as he tried to figure out if he had imagined it. Taking a nervous breath, Red tried again Can you hear me?
The puzzlement melted from his partner’s face; lips forming a perfectly kissable O of surprise. There was a long moment of breathless suspense filling the room between them, and then the other man was on the bed beside him.
Sorry if this wasn't quite what you asked for. The implication's there, though. Enjoy! :D
Dropping down in the seat opposite Adam, Tommy folded his arms on the table top and regarded the other youth with a steady glare that might have left any other individual fearing for their lives. This might have worked in conveying his frustration, if not for two things. One: Adam was also a former ranger and could give back as well as he got. And two: the other youth was studiously ignoring him.
“So, are we going to talk about what happened last night?” he asked impatiently. “What is there to talk about?” Adam responded, finally looking up from his book. “We were drunk and nothing happened.” “Something almost happened," Tommy pointed out, "but then you ran out the door like the building was on fire. I'm getting tired of your mixed signals, Adam

And since I'm not so confident with writing PRS, someone's going to have to show me how it's done *nudge nudge*
