Sorry if this wasn't quite what you asked for. The implication's there, though. Enjoy! :D
Dropping down in the seat opposite Adam, Tommy folded his arms on the table top and regarded the other youth with a steady glare that might have left any other individual fearing for their lives. This might have worked in conveying his frustration, if not for two things. One: Adam was also a former ranger and could give back as well as he got. And two: the other youth was studiously ignoring him.
“So, are we going to talk about what happened last night?” he asked impatiently. “What is there to talk about?” Adam responded, finally looking up from his book. “We were drunk and nothing happened.” “Something almost happened," Tommy pointed out, "but then you ran out the door like the building was on fire. I'm getting tired of your mixed signals, Adam.” “I'm sorry,” Adam said, playing with the straw in his drink before looking away. “You’re a good friend and I didn't want to complicate things.” “I’m not buying that.” Tommy told him. “You wanted it just as much as I did last night, Adam. I could feel it. Something changed the moment we got to the bedroom. What was it? Did I do something or say something?”
