It's totally possible that they'll undo his death, but I tuned in at random and they had Green Arrow blow up the truck he was supposed to be travelling in.
Also, apparently Rosenbaum is never coming back, so resurrecting him may not be an issue. I can't imagine the fangirls accepting a replacement.
Okay, they can never recast and I honestly don't think that MR is ever coming back (or should) and I stopped watching once it wasn't The Lex Show anymore but ... Lex is dead??? That's sad. I don't accept it.
The same as Wesley isn't dead. Or Ianto. Or Wash. Mostly Ianto because it's the most recent one to make me sob. Oh, Ianto. You are still alive in fic.
Oh, DANNY. I think of all your list, that one got me the most.
... I had no idea they'd killed off Lex. Huh.
I'm never going to be over Jo and Ellen Harvelle. If by "over" one means "forgives the writers", because there was no real narrative reason for that (unlike D'Argo or Wash). I'd have rather never seen them again than have them brought back into the story just to kill them off. Damn it.
I'm pretty sure they killed Lex off a fair amount of time after Rosenbaum left the show, so it was kinda anti-climactic. And with the potential for cheesy resurrection loopholes.
I think if they'd killed off Cas or Bobby early in the season I wouldn't think I'd have trouble processing it. It's the knowledge that they're going to kill off just about everyone and there's a ticking clock that's getting to me.
But, unlike you, I kinda liked how Jo and Ellen went out. They were fighting...like Danny, but Danny being a regular left a bigger hole in the show. He was my favourite, and I haven't liked any of the subsequent characters as much as I liked him.
Ianto? I'm torn on whether he went out for a reason or not. Killing part of a couple...or if just one of Jo or Ellen had died...makes me have a harder time of it.
OMG Boromir. The second time I saw the movie, it was with a friend seeing for the first time. I started crying WAY TOO SOON, and she noticed. Oops. I am now mostly over it.
I almost did that with my second viewing of Serenity. I tried, really, and I think I was quiet enough that she didn't notice, but I was totally weeping.
I actually bitched to Alexis Denisof about Joss killing off his characters, and I had completely forgotten about Wesley until I finished my sentence. I did an "Oh, umm, and...you know..." and he seemed amused.

I think I stopped watching in S2, so -- WTF LEX IS DEAD?!?
Relatedly, I really didn't get over (in DC comicsverse) Superboy or Kid Flash dying. But, DC being DC, I didn't have to get over them, in the end.
