Dude. DUDE. I do that exactly that too! People say I run really funny and that I 'prance' when I run. (I sort of jump when I'm running - it's easier.)

According to my friend, my heel wearing shortened my tendons. Pfft, I choose to ignore this.

Landing on the middle of the foot is what most good distance runners do. It gives you more of a glide. Picking a preference for landing on the outside or inside step is another aspect of developing running style. There is no right or wrong. Just do it without getting injured!

But I don't think this post is really about running technique, is it now? :)

I wanna go back to running. Now should be a good time. weather's not too bad.
Running was when I used to do all my creative thinking & self-reflection, plugged into my mp3 player =(
