Is Facebook the new LJ? I always thought of LJ as the first in constant social updating and conversations that weren't email. It's like your own topic forum, complete with available responses and the ability to comment. But, where is everyone? My con friends seem so far away right now, albeit I could text, but it's nice to pop on here and see

I find Facebook much easier to keep up with than here as I can just bung up a status message and get one line replies that I can even just reply to from My phone without having to sit here for hours but I still keep My proper posts for here. I never put them there, thats just for day to day stuff as I have no doubt at least one of Malfucked is on My list. *rolls eyes*

You pegged it perfectly..I, for one, haven't been on LJ much at all cos I've been sooooooooooo swamped. But I fear I may need a 12-step for my FB addiction. It's so easy and (I admit) fun to post a quick status usually via my Crackberry and see at-a-glance what everyone is up to. And reading the comments, is a hoot. That said, I'm with Alabastard, I post on here when I have something to say and/or I only want my Flist to read.
