I can't believe there are people trying to shut down the GSA. Actually, it's really common to have them in high schools now and I consider it a sign of this area's backwardness that there isn't one.

I don't think they should stop having it, either. You have to stand up for stuff, even when it's hard. If you let people back you down, then they know they can win.

I do believe they should have it too, just..with all the violence in the news recently it almost seems like horrible timing for it to start now, instead of maybe after the winter break approaching.
I dunno, I kinda just worry due to how many people I have heard talking bad about it and stuff. >:

I can understand that, but hey, these kids probably want it now. The whole gay suicide thing is scary and depressing. Having someone else to talk to might help.

I'm surprised that there are a lot of people talking bad about it because the younger you are, the more likely you are to support GBLT causes. It's a generational thing nowadays.

Like I said in my comment to heather, I just kinda worry about it due to the fact I have heard people talking badly about it, and I have a lot of friends actually in that club. >A>

They are saying it's a club against all kinds of discrimination and not limited to discrimination of gay people but...then shouldn't it have been named something else more generalized?
