[Layton and School Clubs.]
I beat Professor Layton and the Unwound Future a couple days ago. Like..Monday?
I cried. Credits went and I stopped in the middle of them. Another cutscene and I cried again.
Fucking Level-5, making me cry at your games.
Annnd I have been pretty pleased that I have friends that play Professor Layton. Been able to talk about the games and such with Katie, Hilary and Terry recently and we talked about cosplaying from it. Because I had mentioned I was considering either Flora or Luke in the future (2011 if possible.) They told me if they did it too I should be Luke because I'm shortest. So..maybe. But I would still like to do Flora sometime too. :x
Also the school started up a Gay/Straight Alliance club. I voiced concern for that sort of club to some friends and they all gave me the "WELL SWIC HAS ONE SO WE CAN TOO" argument.
Yeah, so what? That is a college. High school is FULL of immature people that are going to overreact at things that offend them. Today was the first meeting, and before it even started there was already petitions going around the school to stop it. The fact that people are so against it to write several petitions just makes me think that someone is going to get out of hand about this and do something they shouldn't to someone.
Seeing as violence against gay people has been in the news a whole lot recently, too...
I have nothing against the club personally, of course, it's just..I really think something bad might come out of this as much as I'd hope there won't. :/
..Anyway, for Young Authors Club we are doing some activities. In two weeks we are sharing poems, and two weeks after that short stories. We don't have to do it, but it's encouraged of the club members obviously. We are a really small club anyhow.
I actually had written a poem as practice awhile ago centering around Silent Hill so..maybe that. I suck at poems. >A>;;
While on the topic of writing, I am pretty much ready to start my NaNoWriMo story. All I have left to decide on is my character's names pretty much, and some side character's appearances. I have to draw everyone/thing out before I write or I can't envision it the same. But I suck at drawing older men. Like in their 40's. I suck at drawing men period. Goddamn Robert. ...unless I rename him...
