So, I picked up a compilation of a few Spider-man comics tonight: The Death of Gwen Stacy. I've talked about it for years as though I knew it, and I did. I knew the story, how it happens, everything. But I'd never actually read the comic. I owned all the issues leading up to that momentous event, but had never ACTUALLY read issue #121...until

Comics are a beautiful form of art. I sadly never read any spiderman. I wanted to get like the graphic novel version since the originals are rare. I jus dunno which to start with. I've always been into Spawn, Blade of the Immortal, Fathom, Brath, El Cazador, X-Men (I got a kewl X-Men GN last week). I've even still got most of my Archie comics. Those are the ones I started with. I'm gonna miss going to Jim Hanley's Universe & Forbidden Planet. I'll have to come back to NY every other month if I can't find a huge comic shop in Ohio.
