My girl friend and I are going through similiar situations right now (friends with benefits)... over the weekend we got to talking and I mentioned my guy giving me mixed signals. She said her guy is guilty of doing the exact same thing.

Guy gets jealous when I/she talks to another guy, BUT yet our men try and hook us up with their friends or dudes

So as a guy, I have a more Girl question.

What would you think/feel if you friend up and left. Would the feelings be purely physical/sexual, would they be the feelings of general loss or deep emotional pain.

I wonder if the loss this friend would be more then general feeling of loss, normally allocated with friends?

Getting your head around this question might suggest where you take any friendship/relationship next. As one of a few more years, but none the wiser, I would suggest that long term friend/partners are the ones you share common opinions with, and common situations with. Just my two cents.

Friends with benefits can be pretty messy situations. I'm not saying they aren't great when they work, but it's easy to hide behind the "just friends" label when you aren't willing to take a chance or make a commitment even though your feelings might be stronger than you're letting on

Jealousy is reserved for boyfriends and husbands. If he wants to be possessive, he needs to step up. Otherwise, he's just trying for some "milk for free" bullshit.
