"You've been on quite a composing kick, haven't you?" Jaejoong asks one of the rare days when he comes over, looking at the sheets of staff paper scattered across the closed piano in Yoochun's living room, cascading down onto the nearby window seat and piano stool.

"Yeah, I guess," Yoochun responds, picking at the label on his beer rather than looking up at the man seated in the chair across from him.

"I've got some ideas. For songs, you know. I've been so busy, though, I haven't really had a chance to get anything down on paper. It's a shame, really, I've definitely forgotten some of the stuff I was most excited about."

Jaejoong's casual arrogance has never much bothered Yoochun, not until this moment, when he's sitting there in Yoochun's apartment, drinking Yoochun's beer, talking about his own non-problems as if he can't see that Yoochun doesn't quite meet his eyes, that Yoochun's annoyed as hell with him, that the goddamn music exploding all over the place is his own fault
