this is so great! i love how you interpreted the prompt (which i'm glad you liked btw!) and the pairings were a great choice.

And he just wishes they had glasses in their hands. He wishes they could hold them up and clink them together, so just for a moment they could stop thinking and drink to the pleasure and pain of unrequited love.
