Summary: yoochun worries over jaejoong, who mourns park yong ha's death, but cannot say it aloud.
Warnings: mentions of park yong ha's death (may he rest in peace)
candor isn't a strong point with yoochun; he's always been slightly weak willed. this is why he tells jaejoong, "you're working a lot these days" instead of "you're not sleeping."
and though yoochun's grieving as well, though yoochun is familiar with the pull of being so introverted that you are no longer in your own head, yoochun manages to smile. it is for him; and it is because yoochun wants jaejoong to come home, where their hearts should be. so instead of "you're taking hyung's death too hard", yoochun says "he is in peace now. let's lay him to rest."
with that, jaejoong smiles, even if the left corner of his mouth trembles.
(yoochun tries to quell the urge to press a kiss to that very spot; the last thing jaejoong needs is someone seducing him.)
but when yoochun is half asleep and opposite jaejoong on the bed, his sight is filtered by his half drawn eyelids. the electric ceiling light blurs and jaejoong disappears amongst shining spheres that are scattered between shadows of yoochun's lashes.
yoochun prefers not to lose jaejoong to familiar ghosts, so he whispers against jaejoong's cheek.
"we are here and we are now. right now."
