round 04, challenge six: drabble two

Summary: It was the eyes that got him. He could see it in his eyes.

His eyes found him the moment he entered the room, propped up, surrounded by pillows and covered in blankets. That face, it was still the same, thinner but still the same.
It was the eyes that got him. He could see it in his eyes. The anger, pain, guilt surged through his veins.
Why hadn’t anyone told him? Why hadn’t anyone told them? The shock registered on 13
faces was evidence enough that Zhou Mi hadn’t told them he had called Hankyung.
“What are you doing here? Eeteuk did you call him?”
He couldn’t breathe, that voice, it was definitely his voice. Why didn’t he notice the warning signs? Everyday he begged a member to send him a picture. Why hadn’t he noticed then what he was seeing now?
He crossed the room with slow, hesitant steps. Heechul glared at him and before he could speak, Hankyung pulled him into a bone crushing hug before kissing his cheek and whispering sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry over and over until his voice was hoarse and throat was dry.
