I thought a tag for AU science fiction would be useful. I may go looking for sci-fi searches to see if it's worthwhile, but it got me thinking.

1. Please recommend your favorite sci-fi stories.

2. Please recommend your favorite sci-fi crossovers/fusions.

They'll be lovely vacation treats. I enjoy slash, gen, and smarm.

Quasar wrote some enjoyable crossovers between the Stargate universe and TS. Unlike some recent fusions, we do actually get Jim and Blair in these stories, which is a plus from my pov. :-)

Can I self-advertise?

I wrote 'Sensing Pandora' that's a crossover with Avatar. I pretty much change the details of the Avatar world anyway, though, so there's no need to have actually seen Avatar. It very much focuses on Jim and Blair and it's not a fusion so much as AU for both fandoms.
