I thought a tag for AU science fiction would be useful. I may go looking for sci-fi searches to see if it's worthwhile, but it got me thinking.

1. Please recommend your favorite sci-fi stories.

2. Please recommend your favorite sci-fi crossovers/fusions.

They'll be lovely vacation treats. I enjoy slash, gen, and smarm.

In the far future, sentinels are enhanced using microchips. A "natural" sentinel emerges and is in need of someone with knowledge from the old days. This has pretty much all the characters but they are in different occupations and it also has quite a few original characters. Long!
