Need a fix of modern AU and spirit guides

I just saw the episode of Lie To Me where Richard Burgi plays a senator and despite normally being quite able to separate canon from other canon, I spent half the show thinking "but where's Blair??" I've read so much fic that just their likenesses apparently occur as a unit in my head

One of my favorite series that deals with spirit animals is Lady Ra's Sentinel School series, which starts with "A Gathering of Sentinels."

Pimping myself here. I've written a few stories that involve the spirit animals. Wolf's Tale and Panther's Tale are Blair and Jim's stories pre-Switchman, told by the spirit animals; Hidden Protector is mostly about Blair's wolf; The Fox and the Eagle has the wolf playing a pivotal role; Do What the Panther Dare Not, Force of Nature, A Long Weekend, Legend of Buffalo Creek all feature the spirit animals. Wolves of Cascade Forest doesn't actually use spirit animals but Blair can shape-shift. These are all at Artifact Storage Room 3 -
