It seems that Blair is only recognized as special in the future! Ysone has one called My Soul To Keep that has Blair coming out of cryogenic sleep. In his time, sentinels were rare. In the future he's the only guide and there are hundreds of sentinels who would love to get off drugs and become his sentinel
