Banbury, the art is just lovely; all those elements really reflect the story.

Mab, I can really see Blair wanting to go to the Burning Man--not as an anthropologist but as a participant. Both of these guys have big heart chakras. I'm glad they found each other's. Great story.

Thanks sweetie. Yes, Burning Man is something that's so obviously Blair that it really was a gift, and Banbury's art reflects some of those elements too.

That was a lovely story! I really enjoyed the sense of peace between them, and Jim being willing to do this thing for Blair, even thought it was probably way out of his comfort zone (although your description was pretty laid back for what I understand Burning Man events to often be like. :-) ) I thought Jim's epiphany about wanting to wake up next to Blair every day was so sweet, as was his habit of cuddling with whomever is sleeping next to him. And the artwork was a great compliment. I liked how Banbury used the symbol of Anhata.

Thanks very much. :-)

My original concept was a little more angsty, but I guess that a kinder, gentler Jim and Blair led to a kinder, gentler Burning Man project? *g*

Yeah, there are some nice subtleties about Banbury's art. :-)

Such an interesting idea. I nearly died when Blair tossed his dissertation into the fire and so glad when I heard it was a copy. I also enjoyed the growing connection between them bringing them to realize what they are and can be to each other. Love the artwork too, you can just feel Blair's enthusiasm and Jim's hesitance. Great job on both of your parts.

Thank you. :-) I really wanted a sense of the guys having come together again after the series finale.

I like the sense of peace and camaraderie between Jim and Blair in this piece. I also enjoyed the experience and symbolism of what the Burning Man event would mean to both men.

Banbury: Good composition work on this one, matches great with the storyline and your filter(wand) and lighting work really adds something to the artwork. Nice job.

I think we all want them to have some peace and camaraderie after the series, so thanks for that. :-)

A very enjoyable sweet story; just loved seeing the guys relax and enjoy their very close friendship on a vacation outing with no major mishaps. The artwork with Blair and Jim walking side by side in conversation is just perfect.
