Lovely artwork which really set the scene for this story. I just loved the conversation and banter in this story. There was a lovely sense of them being at peace and relaxed with each other. I loved the imagery of throwing the diss in the bonfire and moving on from the "temple of the mind" to Anahata. Beautiful story and art. Thank you.
I love an angsty post-series story as much as the next person, but sometimes it's nice to see them getting along (most of the time, anyway) too. Thanks. :-) And yes, I was very happy with Banbury's cover art.
Wonderful story. The hint of peace is interwoven throughout the story, matching Jim and Blair's feelings toward each other and their moving forward in their lives. I loved it. Great art too - really interesting and appropriate composition.
I've always loved the way you write them, and this is a perfect example of why - they're still themselves, and there's a real sense of them moving towards a changing relationship, without hurry or too much stress, plus you always write Blair as an intelligent grown up. I love the atmosphere, and the drumming, and Jim's gentle acceptance of the 'weird' stuff around him. It's a gorgeous peaceful story, and I enjoyed every minute of it, thank you.
The artwork is fabulous too - I really like the slightly mystic look to it, and the lighting and colours are perfect.
I like the two of them together as grown-ups, I guess. It's my own little narrative kink. *g* Banbury had a nice theme going with the art samples she showed me, and I was very happy with the one here. Thanks for the lovely fb.
