and i''ll be looking forward to now seeing photos of pace in your updates! and the places you all go together :)
i wish i could bring my dogs to the dog park, but with a chow chow and pit bull ppl like to accuse your dogs for their dogs bad behavior that its not a good idea to bring em to doggy parks. i hope to bring prudence tho if the lil snot lets me groomer and show her off make her my walking advertisement lol. but so far its not lookin good

yea a lot of judgemental assholes, they can have the worse misbehaved lab and they'll blame a pit bull for their dog attacking mine even tho mine didn't even know the dog was there. it happens when we walk a lot ppls dogs attack MINE! so no doggy park for him i think if so his eyeballs would pop out red from overstimulation lol! i'd have a blind doggy!

and i'm sure he will the more u take him, so much new stuff right now, he'll be out there before u know it

Things is OK. I'm on fb a lot these days and only check lj occasionally so I've been out of touch. So good to see your new pooch!

He was SO freaky skinny! I'm glad he's much more healthy and happy now :)

I was told that greyhounds have a very cat-like nature, and generally are lazy bums who like to sleep a lot... Maybe that's also a bit why he doesn't like running around too much? (I've been wondering why they'd select a lazy race for dog races though, so I'm not sure if there's any truth to what I'm told.)

pretty much. theyre like giant cats. theyre bred for sprinting. when they take off they can reach nearly 70kph but they burn that off within a few seconds and thats them done for the rest of the day or a few days. im glad we went for a greyhound as opposed to a high energy puppy

Well, I'm not really a dog-person, but I can see myself liking a greyhound for some reason. Over here we don't have the races (thank god), so they're not so common. But we have some organisations around saving them from Spain.

Congratulations, daddy! He's a cutie.
He'll learn how to be a dog the more he's around them. Keep taking him to the dog park, it's the best thing for them to be in a pack, even a temporary one.
I've always wanted a wolfhound. They're so hard to find around here, especially if you're insistent on a shelter dog.
It's so fun to see how your family is growing. ; )

aw thanks. Hes started to be more assertive with the crazy sheepdog which is good. the woman who ran the sanctuary said that when he arrived he just became alpha right away without any effort, just all the others bowed to him. he seems not to mind the others much but instead goes to humans.
