this anime was crafted around daft punk's discovery. matsumoto leiji agreed to create a (deliberately retro) visual narrative for the album, start to finish. so far i've only seen clips - as music videos - for "aerodynamic", "one more time", "digital love", and (my favorite) "harder, better, faster, stronger".

actually, i'd heard the film was never finished... so you can imagine my delight to hear it is available on amazon.com, packaged under the title, interstella 5555 - lookie
hmmm... it seems the whole thing is on youtube, even. yay! ^_^
