Shake Shake Shake

My sinus infection now seems to be migrating to my throat... possibly in an attempt to gain entry to my lungs, which I will not allow! As if I actually have much of a say in it...

Currently, my ears feel (sound?) like they're half-packed with cotton, I have a pounding headache, my nose is running, my throat is scratchy (but doesn't feel like ( Read more... )

Mm. I hadn't thought of the Effexor, but that's a possibility, yeah. ^^; If it doesn't go away I'll have to stop taking it and see if that makes the trembling stop, I guess...

*huggles* You feel better, too!

Ne...trembling is no fun! Let me know how your watch is when it comes. I want one too. And I got my sister hooked on FMA! ^^ She just finished watching the episode where Hughes-san died. She was like 'WTF?! They can't do that!!'

Yeah, that was my reaction to that episode, too... I almost cried at the end when they showed his funeral with the credits, and his daughter was telling them not to bury her daddy because he had lots of work to do, and he'd be mad. ;__;

I need to send you #36 and 37 right? I'll send at least one this afternoon... ^^

Okay! I just tried sending #36 and it ran for about an hour and a half, then timed out. =.=;; So I'm trying again. But I've been having problems with YouSendIt lately, so I may or may not be able to get these eps to you today. *bows* Sorry. ^^;;

*completely randomly* The batteries in the pocketwatch start to go after about four months. *needs to get hers replaced since it's not keeping time anymore* Just FYI. Why they couldn't make it like a regular pocketwatch and just have to wind it once a day is beyond me...

Well... it'll still look spiffy, so I guess I can deal with that. ^^ Good to know, though. I probably would have thought it was broken and started freaking out when that happened... ^^;;

Have you ever been checked out for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibromyalgia? (My two major ailments...they tend to go together.) Your symptoms sound very familiar.

The Doctor does suspect Chronic Fatigue, but I was under the impression that there really wasn't any way to test for that... or am I wrong?

Yes and no. ;P There are no entirely sure diagnostic tests, like blood tests or anything like that. There are brain scans that can help in diagnosis (because a CFS patient's brain oxygen use tends to show a particular pattern), but it seems hardly worth the trouble ( ... )

I'd been told that they had to just rule everything else out, and at that point they could make a tentative diagnosis. *shrugs* Whether it's CFS or something else, I just kind of wish I knew what was going on. It's harder to be sick and not know what's wrong with you than it is to be sick and at least know the cause. ^^;

Just out of curiosity, what kind of a treatment do they have for it?
