My cooking wasn't that bad, was it?

I'm not eating tonight if you make fish again.

Didn't we already have a conversation like this before? You can make your own meals, then.

New recipes ...? Oh, sure, I've got a few!

Ah, great! Do you think you could write them down for me or something here on the journal?

Alright! Let's see ...

[And here in lies the recipe list for both Chalon de Trois (squid, mushrooms, fish ... bones, apple cores (???, I can't even tell), and a ton of spices and seasonings that just ... should never be in the same room as each other) and Trulyworthit Soup (... god I don't even know, it's such an abomination. Think a very thick, poorly made pea soup with chicken (and possibly fish) bones and various veggies (all burnt) floating in it.]

I know some others, but I don't remember how to make them off the top of my head, hehe.

[ oh my god- if only Yamamoto knew better, he would have thought these recipes were outrageous and disgusting. too bad he doesn't, and instead he laughs. ]

Wow, two? Haha! Thanks a bunch! I'll have to try it out sometime soon. My housemates are getting sick of the food I've been making them recently.

Mind if I steal a few of the results? I'm not much of a chef either, so I've just been throwing ingredients together since I got here. Results have been... erratic.

Ahah- sure thing! My dad's the manager of his own sushi shop, so I only know how to make the things that he does. But I like to throw milk into my recipes, sometimes, and it tastes pretty good.

My culinary experience extends to pouring hot water into cups of noodles and watching food television, so it's an adventure, to say the least.

You know, maybe we should get together sometime? I can teach you how to fix a few quick meals, if you want.

Baking? Okay, that works, too! You mean like cakes and cookies- things like that?

What? Oh, uh, tuna carpaccio.

But it'll probably be a while before I can look at another piece of fish...
