:) I was so anxious to post on time, but I was tired and the page would not load; the preview and post buttons remain grayed out. And I had forgotten how long it took to make it look the way I wanted. Geez!

I'm so glad you like it! I'm never sure of anything. Your excitement is communicative. ;) It feels like a weigh is lifted of my shoulders.

Whether they like it or not Peter and Neal know each other by heart. I imagine after the night staking out the killer and finally catching him that tiredness must show on Neal's face. Peter isn't fooled.

And I'm even more excited that there's a potential second story to come out of this Actually, this wasn't my first idea. I claimed two pieces of artwork, and the other story was getting bigger and bigger and I realized I would never have enough time to write both the way I wanted. I stared at the Target Picture and a flash of inspiration gave me this idea. If you're interested I could try and write the original version, but I feel it's gonna take some time ( ... )

I will be delighted to offer more art :D The two challenges I signed up for recently aren't due until September-November so I will have plenty of time for other artsy projects :D

Yay \o/ :D

Yay! So I'll go back to my notes and outline the big thing! Without the pressure of a deadline. Yay!

Really enjoyed the story. Of course, my heart ached for Neal, always being so hard on himself and shouldering the blame for things not his fault. I really liked the way Diana and Jones supported him unflinchingly. Nice job.

Thank you. I imagine anyone would feel this way. If you know you can prevent your best friend from being shot, it's only natural to blame yourself you were too late. Peter would have done the same if the situation were reverse. At least, it ends well! I tried to depict Diana and Jones's support as being present but not overprotective. Quite a challenge.

Thanks for reading.

Great story! How terrifying it had to be.
And of course, they know each other by heart. ♥

Thank you! I can only imagine. Keeping a straight head and doing something instead of waiting for something to happen.

Yep, they do.

Thank for reading :)
