I am SO glad I tried grinding my own meat. I just made some totally rad lamb and feta things wrapped in grape leaves from a burger cookbook I got as a gift. I tried to take a picture, but I knocked my ancient digital camera on the floor the other day and took a picture of some crazy purple lines instead.

Three days from now, I'll be in Oahu for a couple days and then Maui for about a week. Anybody have any big suggestions? I feel bad that none of us have really planned anything concrete out, but I think doing things on the fly is going to work out better anyway. I am drinking some mead and cleaning some house.

Just ordered some kind of skimpy swim-trunks for the Hawaii trip and now I'm worried if they'll look good on me or not. I am terrible.

There are chicken thighs in the freezer and almost nothing else to eat. I guess I'll get them out and fry them. I really don't want to.

I'm a little late on the tech train here, but my Netflix Watch Now disk came for the Wii. It works flawlessly and it's going to be really nice to just pull something up to watch and veg out in the living room on the couch.

I feel a bit guilty for liking Dragon Age better than Mass Effect. There's no way I should be enjoying a game with elves, dwarves, demons, and so on this much.

I'm jonesin' for tie. I really only own one and it's not something I can wear all the time. Suggest me a tie I can get online and I'll get it. Really, just tell me and I will take the plunge. I know shoes that are good for your feet are generally pretty ugly, but it's worth it. Please get some good shoes. Also, it's okay, because they'll be behind the counter. Plus, at least you get to wear that stylish green apron.
