Apparently Will Smith has a superhero movie coming out next summer (Summer of Sequels 2: Sequel Harder). The world probably didn't need another and I might've ignored this if I hadn't seen I Am Legend, but he impressed me there (as did the movie, until that trainwreck of a third act) and I was a little curious.

The people beneath us are playing the loudest neighbor-music I've ever heard tonight. I feel like I'm outside a club. An exceptionally loud one, with a crappy DJ.

But - to end on a positive note - some of the advertising for The Dark Knight looks really cool. Now that I've seen the new trailer, I can totally buy Heath Ledger as the Joker.

I just made a new musical discovery - a Mexican guitar duo (who hit it big in Ireland, of all places) called Rodrigo y Gabriela. Actually, they're not really that new. They even played Bonnaroo (uggh, whyyyy did I miss day one?), but I'm a little behind the times.

It took several fanatical enthusiastic recommendations (and a friend leaving all three seasons on my coffee table), but now I've finally seen Arrested Development.

Apparently, Media Defender has just suffered a slight mishap.They do anti-piracy work for the RIAA. And they just lost 700mb of confidential email. Revealing, among other things, that they really did plan to set up a fake download site to entrap users. Other things being, uh, phone numbers, accounting info, and social security numbers.
