Okay. Since Yuuri is now officially on a two-week hiatus, have a relationship meme.

You don't even need to return the favor, just be patient as I do responses. Yukina, expect maybe two tags. Souji, expect 3+.

Why was I saving this for a Yuuri hiatus? Because he's getting his own goddamned essay. After The Plot, Souji will probably get one, too.

...After all our recent IM conversations, my brain is hurting. Okita is SO IMPORTANT to all of Wolfram's character development and functioning on the island that I can't even begin to organize it all. Or make it sound like Wolfram isn't ttly cheating on Yuuri, emotionally speaking, because he's really not. At least for right now. T_TTo repeat myself for the benefit of stalkers, Wolfram has a Souji-complex similar to Souji's Hijikata-complex. Which I also repeat, makes me sad, but also relieved because it's at least better-founded and much more healthy. >>; Souji is the main reason why Wolfram isn't as bratty as he canonly should be, because he's the only person that Wolfram cares enough about their opinion to recognize his bratty and childish behaviors enough to feel ashamed and want to change them. Though Wolfram's tendencies towards being a bigot aren't based in close-mindedness, he'd still be mortified if Souji ever were to realize how shallow Wolfram is capable of acting. ...And I'm not even going to touch the childish issue. Souji has gotten to the level of "will kill anyone without thought for the sake of", in Wolfram's brain. The only people not falling under the category of "anyone" is Yuuri and family members (Yukina falls here, too). If something cracktastic happened and he had to choose between Souji and even Naoto, for example, Naoto would be shanked without thought. Regret, maybe, after the fact, but not thought. This of course is assuming that Souji would need his help in the first place, which I doubt, but you get the general idea ( ... )

Fletcher was introduced to Wolfram in a strange way, which made Wolfram's initial meetings of him as his normal self a bit... superficial. Not fake, just not very committed to opinion. Actually, Fletcher was interesting for ME to see Wolfram talk to, because he is the first younger boy that could be considered possible "adoptive" material for Wolfram and proved to me that Wolfram, for some reason, tends to latch onto prospective daughters rather than sons.

Wolfram likes Fletcher but doesn't consider him someone he'd mention personal situations with, but if he happened along when Fletcher was in danger he would definitely do something about it.

Translation? Wolfram likes you, and if you talk to him a bit more he might adopt you. As if you want any more details on something specific. I haven't slept much in the past day or two and it's showing. ;D

Naoto, I initially thought, would be another Souji to Wolfram, but recently I'm thinking it's not going to happen. NOT that that's a bad thing after all, nothing random will happen that will make them sex each other up randomly, at least. Wolfram sees Naoto as both an equal as well as very similar to himself, but... a little less controlled. Especially their last thread showed that Wolfram completely empathizes with Naoto's reactions to things but also has messed up enough to know when to call her on a stupid idea, and therefore as swiped the title of "the one that went before" in relation to her. Not enough to be a mentor or anything, but enough to chase her into a corner and hit her over the head with the fact that she's being stupid. (I think it's the practice with Okita that made him so good at it ( ... )
