Christmas was lovely and I had a terrific time :-) The time off work was very welcome and my day in work wasn't as bad as I'd feared. I've been thoroughly lazy all week and enjoying every minute of it.

Hi there - I saw you added me to your friends list. I also see you've been diagnosed with hypermobility (like me) so I'll add you back to my friends list. I do on occasion lock some of my medical posts which may be helpful to you - most are public under the tags eds alert or eds.

You're the 4th fan I've met with hypermobility - and the second one in the UK. Not that I am counting. :-)

I spotted that you had hypermobility as one of your interests which is why I friended you - first fan I've met with it! Thanks for friending me back - I'd be interested in seeing the medical posts. Although I was diagnosed with hypermobile joints as a child (with all the fun dislocations, sprains and random injuries to go with it), it's only recently that anyone has connected the hip and back pain to it. Nobody really told my parents what the hypermobility could mean so I'm now interested to find other people with it and have some idea of what's going on.

Plus it's cool to know that there are other fans out there with it - I'm not the only hypermobile geek! :-)
