In a couple of hours, I shall bundle up and brave the roads to attend Midnight Mass. For me, that's when Christmas starts and it doesn't feel right to celebrate without remembering the events we're celebrating. Mum was not exaggerating about the snow. Wow. The last time I saw this much was in February 2007 and it melted a day later (photos here. This much snow before Christmas is almost unheard of. Last night Mum and I decided that we needed to watch Dirty Dancing. I still love that movie so much. The dancing is amazing. The story is great and moving, the music is just right, but it's the dancing that really captures me.
