Re: Lucia, one of the things I like about your Alice Carter fanfic is that you really addressed Alice's relationship with her mother. It tends to gets neglected in other fic I've read. I mean, I get why people are more interested in her relationship with Jack. I care more about her relationship with Jack, too. But it was nice to see fic that remembered that Lucia was the day-to-day influence on Alice when she was growing up.

Yes. Given we never actually meet Lucia on screen and that Jack is our main character, of course it's his relationship with Alice that gets more emotional investment (from me, too, as a fan). But you can't paint a complete picture if you ignore the parent who was actually around all the time. This btw is one of several reasons why I love The Borgias as a show - the way the younger Borgias relate to their mother Vannozza is given narrative weight and importance instead of only showcasing their relationship to their famous father the Pope.
