Meme from Tartanshell: Whose fandom is it anyway?

Choose ten characters. What fandoms would they participate in, and in what ways?

1.) I already did a post on clearly both movieverse Magneto and Xavier being Doctor Who fans, complete with highly scientific poll as to which Doctors and which Companions they like best. Expanding on that, I'd say Erik Lehnsherr to this day argues Genesis of the ( Read more... )

I find your Darla and Snape fandoms to be especially believable!

... who is Vince Matsuka? (Google says someone on Dexter.)

Should I be worried by his resemblance to me?

Yes, he's a Dexter character - like Dexter, a blood specialist, unlike Dexter, the fanboy type who makes salacious remarks all the time but never has any actual girl friends though last season he finally managed to have a promising encounter with a real life woman; definitely an obsessive geek. Who'd so get into flame wars with Josh. :)

Oh Josh. Why can't you just admit you want to talk about the Cardassians hooking up with the Romulans too?

Josh so speculated about Kira/Romulan Commander from s7 femme slash but would never admit, never ever.

Love all of these, especially the last. I can just imagine Vince with a very silly OTP, and the whole Josh thing... lovely!

Re 6 and 8, someone really needs to write the story where John and Tosh cross paths somehow through BSG fandom.

And yes, I can see Darla doing that, only sooner or later I think she'd want to turn Collins and it would NOT end well.

Ever since the WW episode with Josh and the Star Trek fan, I've been wondering about whom he would encounter online because the fact he brought up Romulans and Cardassians (as opposed to Vulcans and Klingons, the aliens whom the laypeople would know) was so telling. *g*

6 and 8: someone does. *looks meaningfully at you*

Darla/Wilkie: no, it wouldn't go well, but by then she was already 300 years old, so I think she'd have figured out it's better to stay the hell away from one's idols. :)

I'm with Martha on the House thing. Watching the old Blackadders now and knowing how they all end up is seriously freaky. There was a special on TV recently with all the actors, writers and directors coming back to talk about it. There was a bit in particular when they talked about Hugh Laurie and how no one could act as gormlessly stupid as he could. Such talent is obviously wasted on House.

I'll bet Martha's dabbled in the Harry Potter fandom as well.

Martha and Harry Potter: probably; methinks she could be a Harry/Luna fan...
