Veronica Mars, Rat Saw God

After some very busy days, I ended up at my parents for the weekend, and just returned from the animal shelter where my mother adopted a new cat, named Ivy. Female, black and white and seven years old, because we figured kittens find a place easily. Ivy is sitting in my room right now, and I am feeling rather sentimental.

Also, I watched the new ( Read more... )

Such a great thing to do, adopting a mature cat--and they make such great pets. No kitten craziness. Your mother is great!

Or at least the carnival part of it.

And Veronica is more likely to take the 3some solution than Kara would be, I think, but clearly Logan/Duncan is the OTP Here.

Keith, naturally, would be the one with the golf club.

Joss was adorable. Missed Wallace :(. And maybe Kendall WON'T be back. . .sigh and woe. They bait-and-switched me with the Charisma, but I'm not really complaining. Good show.

I believe it implicitly, having watched Carnivale (but not that Simpson episode, which is why Ruth had to explain to me what on earth Kara had meant).

Keith would so be the one with the golf club. And while I have a soft spot for Logan/Duncan, I have an even softer for the OT3 solution...

Welcome to Ivy from Vic Fontaine, also adopted as an adult stray.

Vic is a cutie. And they'd make a perfect match, because Ivy has the reverse colouring - mainly black with some touches of white!

Aww, cute! Vic's black all down his back, as if someone painted him and it dripped down the sides. :-)

I've adopted both my cats when they were grown up as well. Sometimes, I think it would have been nice to have a kitten, because they are cute and you can teach them easier to do certain things (i.e. not be afraid of riding in a car), but adult cats have the advantage that you see their personality more clearly.

Pet Ivy for me when you see her. :-)

I did. Now back in Munich, alas, I am deprived of her company, but when last seen, she was purring at my mother.
