Apparently, I haven't had time over the past week to so much as update my journal. What have I been doing?

I learned two interesting things today:

1. Neutral handling (aka "drifting") is entirely possible in a front-wheel drive, low power car, such as, say, my Elantra.

2. I love the smell of smoking tires in the morning.

Three Pedal Fugue in A Major. So beautifully written, I can't even begin to suggest improvements. Bravo!

Several of you have been confused by my diatribes against hybrids, and my staunch support of standard internal combustion engines. Finally, someone wrote the editorial I was too lazy to write. To quote:

Someone desecrated -- nay, violated -- a 1978 'vette Stringray. Almost everyone here knows my history with that car. I get pissed off when someone puts a spoiler on one. This had me freakin' choking.

Hm. This can't bode well.

Mind you, for all my bitching about all cars needing three pedals and so forth, I'll be first in line for the neurally-driven car. I doubt I'll see it in my lifetime, though.
