I hear what you are talking about. I've had my times with the same exact thing. 'Big-boobs' (as Jessica called her) is a recent ex within the last year, and she had not one damn thing in comman with me. But we still had fun and we hungout, and I was attracted to her for a long time, that is, untill I found out that she wasn't the same way now that she knew more about me and what I liked and did. But hey thats a different story, the point in this comment is to say, though others may feel different, its what you feel that counts. Also, you would be suprised to see how many girls act like they want friendship, but they infact are wanting more. I'm not saying this girl is like that, but hey you never know, and the best way to find out is to just up and ask. Now, since you know me, you know that I don't always just come out and ask or tell things to people, and sometimes I won't get the courage to ask 'a' girl what they think about me and what they want out of 'our' relationship. But as the saying goes: "Do as I say, not as I do" xP Anyway

i agree with the previous comment. I know i have no idea what you are about, but i'm a firm beliver that everyone should have someone who makes them happy, who somehow completes them. And if your friends are anything of a REAL friend, they will be happy that you ARE happy. And that should be all that matters. Now i've put in my two cents. I hope you are happy, you deserve it :)

I take it upon myself to point out logical fallacies. I'll try to be unbiased, seeing as how you very well could have offended me with what you said.

If I were to disagree with Brett's choice of girl-icon, that would in no way degrade our friendship. Perhaps, having been a good friend of Brett's for a few years now, I would know certain things about how Brett handles relationships with girls, that lesser friends would not.

Maybe Brett murders the girls he likes, and buries them somewhere, and then rocks back and forth thinking about how much he misses them. Maybe he feeds them to Alastor, and is then sad for months on end. Either way, if you follow, Brett ends up sad when he gets involved with girls. As a 'real' friend, I would know that Brett would probably end up murdering this one as well, and I would do everything in my power to stop it from happening.

So, regardless of how I actually feel about this topic, I could very well be 'anything of a REAL friend', and still be unhappy that Brett is (presently) happy.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. They're also entitled to defend their opinions, as well as challenge the opinions of others.
