I am glad you posted this so other people can read it, too. I forget what I said about it before. Did I say something about it before? Well, this is my favorite part:

Gregory smiling winningly. “Darling, you wouldn’t disgrace yourself by taking my life with a Russian firearm.”

Christophe scowled and glared guiltily at his APB. “It was free.”

I guess I could change my mind but I think that captures these characters right there. Or the fandom interpretation of them as grown-ups, anyway.
