haha.. totally agreeing with you. the analogy is great and the way you presented the night life made me feel for a moment i was there. then the night life goes to the press conference and i can feel even more anxiety because of the calm it was supposed to be filled with.
i don't know much about tokyo's night life but i know about night and this makes me miss it.
i agree..1582 is a damn good song to listen to when writing something. i still haven't build up the courage to put down what i can imagine while listening to it

There was something so sinister about that press conference, wasn't there? When I was writing it, I felt how Kame was feeling and I just wanted to piss bolt out the door and run back to the neon glow of the streets and night. Quite awkward when you actually have to write the damn thing.
Ah, Tokyo nightlife is amazing!!! It is fucking crazy and mind blowing. Although, having said that, Osaka party nights are better.
1582 owns theme songs now! It is great. And ohh, I would love to see your take on the inspiration that comes with those haunting lyrics and odd as all hell melody.

Thank you! Sorry about the confusing beginning, but I think it is more awesome that way. I like things like that where you have no clue what is going on; is he smashed; fucked off his face; sober; coming down; hallucinating; is the bathroom in a club; it is in his house...? And then it all smashes together in same way and (hopefully) makes sense.

It is kinda like being slapped in the face with a dead fish.

Ahhhh, I read it while listening to 1582 on repeat cause I remembered that's what you had written to and man, so fitting. 'I'm being controlled all the way to my fingertips' ~ *twitch*. Really left me thinking 'I know exactly how he feels' but I'm not quite sure what I was referring to, it was just written so well I thought I knew maybe?

Yes to the song! My god; I just had music on shuffle and was about half way through the fic and 1582 came on and I just went YES! Theme song! But yes, the themes of control, the eyes being reflective, dreaming of days with you, sinking. It was just so perfect. I know what you mean about feeling the same way too. You know when you get so into something that you kinda breathe it; this entire thing just blurted out of my head in an afternoon and something about it felt like I was writing from experience. Not that I can pinpoint anything though, so god knows where it all came from. Maybe it is experience and I was just too off my face to actually remember
