Summary: Kyujong calls Jungmin and then they meet.
Kyujong: The day was passing and Kyujong still hadn't dialed the set of numbers in his pocket. He kept wondering why Jungmin had given him this. Would it be weird to just call him up? Finally deciding it wouldn't do him any good to just sit and ponder, he took out the folded napkin and dialed.
Jungmin: "Hello?" Jungmin was laying on his couch, staring at a wall. If he'd thought his job was boring yesterday, that was nothing compared to being suspended.
Kyujong: Kyujong opened his mouth but nothing came out. Damn. Now he knew why he didn't call before - because he didn't know what to say.. "Ah... Jungmin-shii. This is Kyujong... from the noodles." From the noodles??
Jungmin: Jungmin sat up slowly. "The noodles?" He laughed. "You might not want to change the restaurant's name to that... Ah... Hey. I guess you got my note then..." He'd forgotten all about that in light of recent events.
Kyujong: Kyujong smiled some. "Yeah. I wasn't sure when a good time to call you would be though." He looked alarmed for a second. "You're not busy now, are you?"
Jungmin: That made Jungmin really laugh. "Nope, not at all... so I guess leaving my number didn't weird you out too bad then..."
Kyujong: "Why would it weird me out? You're not weird..." Kyujong softly laughed. He didn't want to voice his actual questions for that might make it awkward.
Jungmin: "Well... I am a little bit. But not like creepy weird."
Kyujong: Kyujong laughed a little more at this. "Okay... So then..." he paused, biting his lip wondering why this felt like he was asking some girl on a date. "...If we had a meal together I wouldn't regret it?"
Jungmin: Jungmin paused, honestly surprised the other had called at all. "Yeah sure! I mean, no. You wouldn't regret it."
Kyujong: Cool. Kyujong hoped he had a new friend. "Okay... How about dinner then?" He tried to think where... "How about we meet up and then decide where?"
Jungmin: "Sounds good. Where should we meet?"
Kyujong: Kyujong mentioned an intersection in an area with plenty of places to go. "So... See you there in.. forty five minutes?" he hoped that wasn't too soon.
Jungmin: "Oh, sure!" Jungmin scrambled off the couch. That didn't leave him much time to get ready. "See you then!"
Kyujong:
Kyujong just had to sit around now until the time came. Before leaving he checked himself in the mirror, wearing a gray shirt with a black short sleeved jacket and some jeans. As he walked to the meeting point, he kept trying to rehearse things to say.
Jungmin: Jungmin worried over how to dress, but finally dressed all in black, because one time Hyunjoong had said it made him look 'mysterious and cool', and rushed to the meeting point.
Kyujong: Kyujong was early and he sat against this half brick wall. He didn't know which direction Jungmin would be coming from so he just waited.
Jungmin: Jungmin was less early, and walked up to Kyujong with a grin. "Excited to see me?"
Kyujong: Kyujong immediately hopped up when Jungmin came into view. He fidgeted with the bottom of his jacket. "I almost didn't recognize you..." he smiled some as Jungmin's all black could not be missed.
Jungmin: "I almost didn't recognize you." Jungmin laughed, picturing Kyujong the way he'd first seen him, cooking ramen. "So... hi."
Kyujong: Kyujong already began to feel more at ease, something he did notice from the previous time with the other. "Hey," he smiled. "I'm hungry..." he informed, now walking along the sidewalk.
Jungmin: "Me too," Jungmin nodded, walking beside the other. "Starving." He tended to eat when he was stressed, which he was, also when he was happy, sad, worried... really, who needed an excuse to eat? "And it is completely up to you where we go."
Kyujong: "Up to me?" he questioned. "I was going to say the same to you...." There were so many places around here. Already they passed some small bakery.
Jungmin: "I've never met food I didn't like..." Jungmin admitted.
Kyujong: Kyujong grinned a lot, liking Jungmin more. As someone who could eat a lot he also loved food. "Good. Then we'll go to wherever speaks to my stomach." He spoke after thinking for a moment. "So even if you say my noodles are delicious, it's not that special because you like everything."
Jungmin: That made Jungmin laugh, liking Kyujong more and more. "Trust me, your noodles were extra special."
Kyujong: A flashing grin reached his lips. His expression changed to one of surprise all of a sudden. "Do you smell that?" It smelled good whatever it was. His nose led them outside of a small, noisy restaurant.
Jungmin: Jungmin's nose twitched as he grinned in excitement. "Let's try it!"
Kyujong: The door was already open so Kyujong walked right in. They were greeted by a friendly hostess and were shown to a booth. Only looking at the menu did he realize it was a pizza place. "Oh... This just might be one of my new favorite places."
Jungmin: He looked around, then sat down and looked at his menu. "Damn... looks good." He'd never even heard of this restaurant before, but if the smell coming from the kitchen was any indication, he was in for a treat.
