Who: Park Yoochun, Nagayama Eita
Where: Lunch, Thai Restaurant, Day 4
Rating: PG
Warning: n/a.
Summary: Yoochun and Eita have their weekly lunch together. A little discussion about love, life, and the random occurrences. Just some good friendly hanging-outness.

Yoochun inhaled his last puff from his cigarette, making it a long good one. Before Eita spotted him he put it out against the trashcan tray. Eita always lectured him about the consequences of smoking. He stood there outside the restaurant they agreed to meet at, waiting...

Eita walked up a few minutes later, hands pushed deep into his pockets. "You beat me." He grinned.

A lazy grin draped along Yoochun's lips. "Unbelievable, huh," he chuckled and just because he liked to, he leaned in to give his close friend a peck on the lips. "How's work going?" As far as he knew, Eita worked in a lab for some company. He held the door open for them both.

"Mm," Eita laughed, "It's... Ah. Insane." He ran a hand through his crazy hair.

"Insane?" he looked confused.

"Something like that." Eita was clearly amused as they walked inside. "And how have you been?"

"Same as usual. Enjoying life." He already knew what he wanted so he didn't need to look at the menu. "Although... for the first time the other night, someone actually fell asleep on me before we got to fuck." The waitress came up at that moment in embarrassment. Yoochun tried to smile it off to her as he ordered.

"Oh, you poor thing." Eita only looked amused, used to his friend's behavior by now. Then he smiled at the waitress, who of course knew exactly what Eita wanted, as he always ordered the same thing.

"Please stop. Your sympathy is overwhelming," he put a hand to his heart making a wistful sigh. But then he leaned against the table, "How's your love life?"

"I don't have one. You aren't surprised, are you?" Eita sighed dramatically. Who had time for love these days?

Yoochun asked nearly every week, merely because he felt Eita needed to get a good lay. "Not surprised. Disappointed," he grinned. "You should come down to the bar sometime."

"I don't think the people I'd meet there would be up to my standards..." Eita always answered the same way, with a grin. "But... Maybe. Once. I'll come. Since you always ask." With all that had gone on at work lately, maybe he needed a change.

Yoochun nodded with a pleased expression. "You better." He fell back in his chair. "Standards?" he scoffed. "You're not lookin' for love. Just a night of fun."

"Uhn..." He stared off blankly for a moment. "Something like that would take a lot of time. And I don't think I'd get much out of it."

Yoochun had that knowing and entertained look. "So work is really weighing down on you, yah? Then you'll definitely need a drink." He really did want the best for Eita, so whatever that was Yoochun would support him.

"I only drink on the weekends, you know," Eita grinned, reaching over to pat his friend's arm. "Don't worry about me so much. You're the one who needs to get laid."

Yoochun looked offended at first but quickly began to laugh. "Just because of what happened the other night doesn't mean I haven't gotten it elsewhere." He doubted Junsu would even search for him...

"True. You are the master of that."

In all honesty Yoochun didn't sleep aruond as much as college. Only select people would he privilege a night in bed with him. Which is why more people wanted him and he'd only sleep with a person once. "Yeah... the master..." he echoed taking a sip of his water. The food came to them and Yoochun took his first bite, closing his eyes at how tasty it was.

Eita's curry came and he stirred the curry and rice all together before taking a large bite.

At the next bite Yoochun had to air out his mouth from the heat. "Ahnn... This place never gets old," he commented. "So good~"

Eita nodded, eating methodically. "Mm, so... What day do you want me to come to your bar?"

Yoochun paused to think. "This Saturday. Yeah that sounds good." He ate some more then asked, "When's the last time you went out like this?"

"Saturday..." Eita echoed. "I can do that." He looked thoughtful, pausing in shoveling the food into his mouth. "I don't know..."

Yoochun was the one to reach across now to pat Eita on his arm. "You'll have fun." He sat back some and fiddled with his cup. Suddenly he asked, "Do you know anything about those spontaneous combustions around the city?"

Eita's face didn't give away the fact that he did indeed know things. "I don't... It's probably not real anyway."

Yoochun just smiled and at the last bite of his food that he could. "You're right. The tabloids always make stuff up." Of course he never told Eita about his powers. There was nothing to gain by telling him.

"Yeah, well they have to have something to write about." And Eita never told Yoochun where he worked, or of his own power.

Yoochun took another gulp of his drink, then asked another question. "So if right now, that table over there went poof," he made a poof noise and his fingers spread apart, "would you dismiss it as if it didn't even happen?"

"Of course not," Eita replied, shoveling the last of his meal into his mouth, "But until that happens, I'm not going to worry about it."

Yoochun laughed a bit. When he saw that Eita finished, he slowly scooted his foot across the floor under the table, the toe of his shoe sliding gently against the other's shoe. "Was it... delicious?" He always enjoyed flirting here and there with Eita just because it brought him great amusement.

Eita shrugged, casually shifting so that the heel of his shoe was digging into the other's shoe. "It was fine." To be completely honest, he didn't even like curry that much. But it was easier to always order the same thing. That was he didn't waste time thinking about unimportant things.

Yoochun scrunched his nose as his mouth widened into a pained, but delighted grin. "Aii~" he removed his foot from the danger zone and shook his head a bit. The waitress came by to drop off their check, and Yoochun didn't look twice when he threw a bill down.

"You should know better," Eita laughed, waiting for the waitress to walk off before continuing. "There's no point in flirting with me. Even if I was in the mood to do something with someone of the same gender, it wouldn't be you."

Yoochun grabbed the front of his shirt, coiling his hand into the fabric. "Ouch. That hurt." But then he sighed and casually retorted, "Fine with me. I wouldn't want to taint you anyways."

"Taint me?" He snorted before draining his water glass. "You make it sound like a disease or something. Or like I'm pure and have never done a thing wrong in my life."

Yoochun grinned. "I know you're far from pure," he stretched his arms up and relaxed his hands behind his head, "but I'm just so unpure that you probably couldn't handle it."

"Of course I could." Eita frowned. "But I wouldn't want to."

A smile stayed on his face as Yoochun silently agreed with Eita. Despite all of his words and action, he actually wouldn't do anything with his friend. He cared too much about him to even think of pursuing that seriously. "Ah~ Ready to go?"

Eita nodded, getting up as he checked his watch. "I stll have 26 minutes before I have to get back to work."

Yoochun shook his head as Eita made it seem like being late for work would be the end of his life. "Is that enough time?" he teased Eita as they walked out.

"Anything is enough time for you." He looped an arm over Yoochun's shoulders.

Yoochun chuckled as he curled an arm around Eia's waist. "You're turning cheesy on me." They walked casually down the sidewalk, heading to the usual intersection where they would seperate.

"After all that's been going on, I figure it's best not to take you for granted." Eita's phone then vibrated, and he pulled it out of his pocket, glancing at it, and frowned.

Yoochun glanced to the other's phone and back up to him. "Work?" Eita's job must be going pretty rough these days.

Eita nodded, grimacing a bit. "It's not great. Nothing to do with me directly, but..." He shook his head with a soft sigh.

He rubbed his hand on Eita's lower back in a soothing manner. "Man... I'm glad you're coming to the bar for a drink. You look like you really need it."
