Hellblazer #238.
Okay, so the new Hellblazer issue came out, and I picked it up today.
It's fine. It's not great, but it's good. The thing is about it, is that it's the absolutely typical Hellblazer story. If I wanted to pick a single issue to use to introduce someone to the series, saying "this is the premise of this series, and here's how it works," I'd use this ( Read more... )

You do know that even with this one, there are two issues of Ennis' run they aren't reprinting? It's a lovely little two-parter focusing on the relationship between John and Chas, and I think it made some of the more "Constantine is absolutely positively not bisexual even a little bit" people uncomfortable, so they're leaving it out.
*fumes*
I picked up those two issues on mycomicshop.com a while back. They make up one of my favorite Ennis stories.
