Yesterday was karaoke day! *u*
Went to Gateway at around 10 to meet up with
alabapoy and his buddy (who also happens to be
mirai_kazuko and my kouhai), Nabe. Most of our time there was spent in the single updated Kumyoung booth in Timezone, singing animu songs and losing our voices. \o

I really wish I could've gone with you guys uguuu maybe next time?
Uguuu if only macbooks were within the 30k price range. Are you getting a netbook or a laptop? Do you have anything in mind already?

The bunnies were left out in the rain. I think they got cold and died. And I think the fish was overfed. *cries forever* ;___________; MY PEEEEETS
Yeah! I was looking forward to singing with yoooou~ We must definitely go together next time!
Haha, actually, that's one of the main reasons why Macbooks are pretty much out of the question (the other being that I am a Windowsfag \o/). I think I want a laptop over a netbook so I won't have to squint at the screen, but I'm not picky.
No particular laptop in mind yet - we were supposed to go to SM Cyberzone kanina but it suddenly rained - but I have a few specs in mind, though I'd love pointers regarding what to look for. But it definitely has to be shiny. *u*

Oya, since you're getting a windows, I suggest waiting for Windows 7 to come out so you don't have to deal with vista~
Good luck! Hope you get your laptop soon~ Do you have a name in mind already? :3

Haha, I was thinking about that, too. It looks terribly terribly gorgeous, and I supposed it'll be about an extra two months' wait, so I guess it's okay. (WINDOWS 7 SO SHINY AND PRETTY ♥)
Thanks~! I'll probably name it upon obtaining adopting it. X3

- go to gilmore, best prices for techie stuff there, be sure to catch your warranty
- 2 gb+ is optimal for photoshop cs3 (You do graphics, right? I can easily run half of the adobe creative suite at the same time on a 1gb rig)
- consider getting a laptop with less than 80 GB of memory (cheaper) and get an external HD instead
- get a dvd-rw drive (be sure to ask for that)
- a word of advice and hearsay: Neo overheats easily. With your price range, you can easily get a nice Asus or Lenovo. However, the laptop may very well last until after you graduate, so if you can, spring for an HP. But eh, Asus/Lenovo is more than okay, really
- Lenovos are boxy things tho, I don't like their aesthetics
- unless your room is airconditioned, consider buying a cooling pad as well
- Vista? Vista.
All of these I can name off the top of my head, I may get back to you later on other stuff, or something.

Haha, I was thinking of going to Gilmore, but I wasn't quite sure exactly where to start. PC Express? They never let me down, but I was wondering if there was a place there with more choices, if ever. *u*
Yeaaah 2GB! For Photoshop, Vista, and random gaming whims. The 80GB memory + external HD combo was also a thought, though I've heard horror stories about dropping external HDs and losing everything. D:
Definitely getting a DVD-RW drive! *u* Yeah, I've heard that about Neo, too. :( My Dad found a Lenovo, but I wasn't too sure because I haven't heard a lot about it. But brand's pretty much second so long as it's a nice laptop. Asus is good na, raw. :3
Yeah, cooling pad. And Vista! Sweet sweet Vista. I was considering waiting for Windows 7, but it might be a really long wait. If ever, baka mag-upgrade na lang or something.
Thanks so much for your help, dear! ^3^
