There's a reason we patented karaoke
Yesterday was karaoke day! *u*
Went to Gateway at around 10 to meet up with alabapoy and his buddy (who also happens to be mirai_kazuko and my kouhai), Nabe. Most of our time there was spent in the single updated Kumyoung booth in Timezone, singing animu songs and losing our voices. \o/
We ate at the Foodcourt later, and I discovered Burger King's awesome array of desserts. *O* Dropped Nabe off at the MRT afterwards, though we made a stopover at this cute little store called Clipper, which had a diabetes-inducing selection of super cute goods. alabapoy bought Nabe her alay, and we bought these facial absorbence papers for wuzu and psychedelic_aya purely because the cover contained pictures of monkeys and the label "Julius and Friends". 8D
Took a taxi to psychedelic_aya's house afterwards, where we also found sappherine, wuzu and Maxine competing on some Wii Mario sports game. After a while, we finally set off for Joo Sarang, though we dropped by sm16's place to pick her up first~ ♥
We rented a small room and just sang for two hours, trying to cram in as many songs as we could. Despite spending four hours that day on karaoke, it is never enough. :< Discovered their awesome 30% student discount, though, hoo hah! Definitely coming back, and we're totally renting a bigger room next time! >o<)/
Headed off to Shangri-La next, where alabapoy was to meet up with up_ame people for an overnight movie marathon at Ate Mic's house. Looked around this store called Zara for a while, which was pretty depressing because everything cost more than my total allowance for a month. :|
After saying goodbye to alabapoy, we went off to SM Megamall (ah, more familiar, within-my-budget waters) to eat dinner at this restaurant called Ohana something. I remember that place fondly because of a previous wheelchair race between myself and another Nunnally cosplayer. :3
Met with psychedelic_aya's family there, too, and after a few detours that involved deep, intriguing conversations while navigating through a sea of mall-goers and a stall of magic tricks, we reached the parking lot. wuzu left, and the rest of us headed to psychedelic_aya's house, where we spent the time waiting for our respective sundos by conversing.
Ended up arriving home at around 9:45, much to Mommy's dismay, but it was worth it. Staying home is fine and all, but going out every now and then is important, too!

Because this coming academic week is basically lulzy (two public holidays and an afternoon canceled for ACLE), the professors have kindly assigned all sorts of tasks to be accomplished by the following week - anything from report papers to studying for exams. Thank you, dear professors. XD
Am also hoping to catch a couple of Eiga Sai movies with mirai_kazuko and ydpsh on Tuesday and Thursday. Might as well take advantage of the chance while it's there, right?
And, and, and, I'm finally aiming to BUY A LAPTOP! I have some idea of what I would like (at least 2GB of RAM, a sizable memory space, good video card, built-in CD/DVD drive, smooth keyboard and mouse pad, and, of course, sleek, pretty design), but if anyone has any good pointers to give (what to ask for, where to look, etc.), please do so! Hopefully something around the Php30K price range? *O*
