I've absolutely no idea who the characters are or what the canon is but I really enjoyed this fic! You totally made it all make sense and the characters believable without needing that previous knowledge. Thanks for writing!

Ace Attorney is a game series wherein one plays as a defense attorney struggling to exonerate his clients against impossible odds and a frankly nonsensical legal system (which itself is a parody of Japan's more sensible but still a bit worrisome legal system). Prosecutor Edgeworth is the rival for the first game (after which he grows a little bit of humanity and is replaced by someone more antagonistic towards the protagonist) and Gumshoe's his rather incompetent 'partner' detective who adores him despite how much Edgeworth insults him or threatens his paycheck. It's amazingly fun.

I'm really glad it came off accessible, I put a lot of work into it.
