Eee I loved it :D It made me happy. LOL at all the names (Mark Dinero, Hei Tenrun, Harry Red? pffff), although if Natalie's name was a pun I missed it.

And count on Gumshoe for "saw a guy dragging another guy into the bathroom" not to raise any red flags XD But I loved that he pinned the bad guy through his knowledge of noodles; quintessential Gumshoe right there. And Badd, eee...

Natalie's was not a pun, the name just sort of came to me (although it was originally Natasha), and I felt it in minorly bad taste to pun out the assault victim.

Well, he did get that the couple throwing office supplies around might be problematic, but this is Gumshoe. He can only be so smart in a single day. But once things get into his area of expertise, he's right on it.

Here from fandom_write on JF. This is great. I haven't played AAI yet (though I do own it) but I know Gumshoe and Edgeworth and they make an adorable couple. So many good lines I'd be here too long quoting them all, but I loved the bit about Edgeworth "flying the gay flag" and I loved Natalie.

I thought she was just nice and realistic. (But not too realistic for the fandom, thanks to the flying office supplies.) I hope that makes sense.

I might just have to put down Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for Gumshoe's sake.
