Seems to be the season for memes, a lot of them going around and ::sneezes:: I think I just caught another one from noirbabalon who caught it from the immortal dodger-winslow. I've done Noir's and now it is my turn

I love it when people jump in. Have a lemon tart while I try and answer these.
1) Really? Oooh. Damn I'm behind on the gossip. Tell me more! Hope they're good horror films (or at the very least hugely successful for the boys), and not like ::winces:: Devour or House of Wax. 2) I rewatched 2 last week: a) the djinn ep because it is hugely important to one of my upcoming fic, and one of the best episodes ever. b) the Christmas ep. particularly for the flashbacks. I'm not sure I agree with what is now canon that John and Dean kept the secret for that long. I'm trying to work out exactly how you can cover that deception without making young Sammy seem like an idiot. Also, damn good ep. 3) Jason. Dean was a bit too good. Jason had layers even before you got past the yummy nice guy image

Damn I'm behind on the gossip. Tell me more! Um, well, I don't know a lot. I know Jared is starring in a ... re-imagining of the classic "Friday The 13th" - sounds like it's basically the original story, but he's playing a new character - the brother of one of the girls who goes missing at Crystal Lake. And Jensen is starring in a remake of the Canadian horror classic "My Bloody Valentine." That's all I know - both starring role, both horror films, both being filmed this summer.
the djinn ep That is SUCH a good episode - it's a good mystery, plus there is just so much revealed about Dean's character!

It does make Sam more than a bit blind - especially considering that he basically shares a one-room motel room with this father and

WOW! Settles in with a cup of coffee to speed read nice, long, juicy comments.
Hmm the horror films don't sound real goers but I hope I'm wrong. Either way, hope the boys have fun.
The Djinn ep. Stay tuned for Life Lines in the next week or so.
I like what you've said here about how kids react to things differently. You have the kids that know everything (or just think they do), the ones that go Huh? Where's my cake? The ones who try not to know what's going on (and that's a sensible defence mechanism in itself), others who are protected. Guess I was letting my own childhood colour my thoughts. I had to grow up very fast very young and I guess I find it hard to think of Sam not being totally aware of everything. But you are totally right. There is certainly ways that this can be dealt with in fic. John, is also totally capable of setting up a situation if he thinks it is for the best. Hmmm Going to have to write a fic on this now aren't I?
Jason, Yum. Now if you'd asked Jason or Alex I might have given a different answer
