I like what you've said here about how kids react to things differently. You have the kids that know everything (or just think they do), the ones that go Huh? Where's my cake? The ones who try not to know what's going on (and that's a sensible defence mechanism in itself), others who are protected. Guess I was letting my own childhood colour my thoughts. I had to grow up very fast very young and I guess I find it hard to think of Sam not being totally aware of everything. But you are totally right. There is certainly ways that this can be dealt with in fic. John, is also totally capable of setting up a situation if he thinks it is for the best. Hmmm Going to have to write a fic on this now aren't I?

Don't apologise about the new ep. You haven't given anything away. I'm still unspoiled for a few weeks. I'd download if I could but my monthly contract with my ISP is only for 400mg a month. Pitiful.
