I think I have stuff in the stats/permissions for all of mine, but a quick summary!
Mewtwo is my most relevant character and is a psychic-type pokemon! And a very powerful one at that. You can definitely talk to Mewtwo telepathically, but you prrrooobably will have a hard time reading his mind, I think, because being psychic he'd have natural barriers to that. And is super-suspicious of humans to begin with.
Laguna and Masamune are both ordinary humans and have no particular barriers to anyone looking in their heads. They also both tend to be saying/acting on what they're thinking anyway, the only thing noteworthy is that Masamune IS smarter than he acts, he just tends not to stop and thinking before rushing in to something.
Labrador is a prophet, and also being a Ghost it's likely that he'd be hard to read and/or he'd notice. Definitely possible to pick up that there's something supernatural about him. :|a He REALLY IS as nice as he acts, basically the most forgiving and self-sacrificing person ever. :<
Heh. She's just... going to assume that Mewtwo is a wacky kind of animal, and try beastspeaking him. I imagine this will just feel like regular telepathy anyway, only with a different sort of language at times.
Well, "wacky kind of animal" kind of DOES describe pokemon, so. XD And yeah, it'd probably be all the same to him, being a pokemon Mewtwo can understand pokemon speech just as well as human and all.
Mitsuko is a witch. She might notice someone poking around in her head, but I'm not sure she'd be able to do anything about it. She'd be pretty pissed off by it, but yeah, you can do it, and she has no other memory weirdness to speak of.
Narumi is a totally normal dude. Do what you like with him.
and really I'm posting this so I have an opportunity to go omg Elspeth ♥ I haven't read those books in ages, but I have such teenaged nostalgia.
Shoutarou, Rin and Mizusawa are normal people! Do whatever you like.
Kazari here is where it gets tricky. He's a Greeed, a homonculus made of alchemised coins called Medals. His 'mind' is contained in one of his Core Medals, and it's basically made of concentrated human greed. His kind of greed is best described as manipulative selfishness. His human form isn't what he really looks like, either! Kazari is a schemer of the highest order, so really... Elspeth can find all this out about him if she likes.
Haku is a water dragon spirit, I don't know how her abilities would apply to that :|a
Yuki can hear thoughts! He literally hears them with his ears. He can't put up shields of any kind or deliberately probe into people's brain, but if he catches her doing anything more than skimming surface thoughts from him he will react violently. He does not like other telepaths! He's resistant to any kind of coercing.
Aradia is a low blood troll so she's resistant to mind probes and is an immortal goddess of time manipulation so i don't even know why you would want to. She is obviously not human.
Aurica is hooked up to a machine that is hooked up to her planet's power system. Elf can notice that but anything deeper will result in her brain getting utterly fried by that system. She will get a warning, in the form of a bear with a ridiculous accent, telling her that Aurica doesn't trust her. However, if Elf can get Aurica to trust her, then Aurica is ridiculously weak to mind control.
Elliot's memories are a bit of a mess. He had something horrible in his mind suppressing anything that made him upset with the resulting side effect of it eating his soul, and this was put in there against his will. Elliot will not notice if she's reading his mind, but any effort to make him do something that is against his moral code will be met with ridiculously fierce resistance. He's just ... insanely stubborn. It's how he rolls.
